What to expect
The first thing we’ll do at the consultation is talk about your skincare goals and ongoing regimen to understand if an AQUAGOLD® fine touch™ Facial is right for you.
Before Treatment
Before your facial, the treatment areas must be free of makeup, sunscreen, and lotion. In addition, 24 hours before treatment, avoid sun exposure and/or usage of a tanning bed, including self-tanning products (we recommend 1 week before). Avoid chemical peels, Retin-A, Renova, Tazorac, and waxing one week prior. Tattooed areas cannot be treated.
During Treatment
First, the skin is cleansed, and a topical numbing cream is applied. Once numb, your personalized cocktail of serums is placed in the sterile tube of the AQUAGOLD® device. It’s then pressed into the skin in an overlapping pattern and pulled out, leaving the product behind. This creates a soft, natural-looking result, leaving the face looking smoother, tighter, and rejuvenated.
After Treatment
Following treatment, skin irritation, redness, and swelling will occur in the treatment areas.You may also experience warmth similar to a mild sunburn. However, these go away within a few days or less. Avoid washing your face, applying makeup, direct sun exposure, swimming, saunas, and steam rooms. If going outdoors, use a good-quality non-comedogenic sunscreen. Results last up to 1 year with 3-5 treatments.
